Rainfall over a bushfire burning in the Perth Hills has reduced the threat to homes and lives.
Emergency WA has downgraded the fire to an advice message with no immediate danger to local properties.
The blaze has already destroyed at last 86 homes and burnt through about 11,000 hectares.
About 300 properties are still without power with the fire causing significant damage to electricity infrastructure.
Almost 150 firefighters remain on the scene, mopping up and strengthening containment lines.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Deputy incident controller Greg Mair said the blaze was now officially considered contained and controlled.
He said a number of roads across the region had been reopened and some locals were being granted limited access to their properties.
