Fans have been given another look into Holey Moley’s epic mini golf obstacle course with Australia’s favourite trash-talking puppet Agro making a surprise appearance.
The Channel 7 show will see the nation’s most skilled and passionate golfers take on the insane supersized mini gold holes, including The Distractor in the ultimate test of mind over matter.
The competitors will need to muster all their talent as they attempt a 12-foot putt while a rotating wall reveals a spectacular distraction.
Agro, a troupe of carnival dancers and 1980s icon Joe Dolce singing Shaddap You Face are among the many distractions that will be on the course to put the putters off their game.
American comedian Rob Riggle, who will deliver lively play-by-play commentary, including player history and statistics, strategy and performance, said anything or anyone could be behind the rotating wall.
“I’d be disappointed if it wasn’t Beyoncé,” Riggle said.
Legendary golfer and two-time Open Championships winner Greg Norman will also be in the commentry seat and 7NEWS sports anchor Matt Shirvington will take audiences through the toughest mini golf competition on the planet in the new reality series.
Sonia Kruger will host the spectacular and unpredictable on-course competition action as the golfers make their way around the Holey Moley course.
Towering windmills, fire-breathing dragons, shark-infested lagoons and a giant sausage are just some of the holes the players will come up against.
No inch of astroturf has been left unturned in creating this unmatched test of precision putting and stamina.
“I’ve played the world’s greatest golf courses – St Andrews, Augusta – but they’re nothing compared to this,” said Norman.
“Being named Holey Moley’s Resident Pro is without a doubt the biggest moment of my career.”
“This is set to be the most challenging, high-flying, electrifying new show on the planet!,” Riggle added.
Holey Moley is coming soon to Channel 7 and 7plus.
