With features and landscaping inspired by the Californian desert community, Palm Springs, the Indio display by Celebration Homes expresses a laidback style and offers spaces ideal for a growing family.

The home’s stunning style is evident from the outset, with hardy plants, strong architectural lines and hallmark breeze blocks making for an impressive statement.

Boasting a minimalist base, the home offers pops of colour throughout, which Celebration Homes Sales Manager Alistair Harris said paid homage to the playful twist on mid-century modern design that Palm Springs decor was known for.

“The Indio uses Palm Springs-esque styling by Sally Timms, forming the perfect balance between contemporary coastal living with an added touch of glamour,” he said. “This has been expressed with clean lines, mid-century modern design and hallmarks such as breeze blocks and indoor-outdoor living areas.”

Orientated to maximise natural light, the home features wraparound doors to all the living spaces to maximise their potential.

The main open-plan living area is commodious and stylish in nature, with ample space to entertain family and friends comfortably.

A feature wall in the dining corner presents a natural feel and emphasises and complements the outside vistas to ensure a seamless connection between inside and out.

Sitting at the heart of the home, the kitchen features Caesarstone benchtops and Westinghouse appliances to add another layer of sleekness to the refined abode.

Mr Harris said the kitchen was highlight; full of natural light thanks to the huge window splashback.

“Plus, we have incorporated a server’s window which connects the kitchen to the alfresco through a stunning wooden benchtop,” he said.

“The window splashback is a standout and carefully positioned landscaping really brings a hint of the outdoors into the space.”

Bringing the practicality, an abundance of overhead and under-bench storage continues the kitchen’s list of inclusions, while an island bench provides additional preparation space as well as an option for casual dining.

As all the high-traffic areas of the home seamlessly connect to the outdoors, Mr Harris said everyone could feel connected whilst still being able to enjoy their own space.

“The sliding door out to the alfresco makes it nice to wake up in the morning and enjoy the fresh ocean air and a coffee in the sun,” he said.

“All living areas are very well connected to the backyard, with three double bedrooms as well as the master suite perfect for a young family as they grow.”

The master suite complements easy access to the alfresco with a calming colour palette, making it a relaxing retreat worthy of the heads of the household.

When it comes time to relax as a family, the home theatre is sure to be warmly welcomed.

The display is open for viewing Wednesdays from 2-5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5pm.
