Home and Away: Justin is so desperate for drugs he contemplates licking drain juice | Ralph Lauren

Must Read

Justin needs to hurry up and die but until then I shall continue to rant about how he is an incompetent crumb of a human.

For anyone who hasn’t tuned in for a while, sadly Justin isn’t on his deathbed but the tumour in his spine may have come back and he’s building quite the stash of pain killers, so either of those could kill him. I’m not fussed either way but as far as I’m concerned his death is imminent, plus there’s Leah and her dead husband curse.

For the past few days the battle for worst bloke in Summer Bay has been fierce between Christian – who jilted his fiancé last night – and Justin.

But I think Justin may have just nudged ahead with his latest remarks.

First he blames Leah – who found his stash – for the stash.

“You’re the one who told me to get on top of my medication,” Justin says to Leah.

“I did what you asked and now you’re having a go at me.

“I can’t win.”

Leah runs off to the diner and breaks down in tears while Irene tries to comfort her. But instead, Leah finds comfort in literally the first man who comes along – Stephen from the internet who has also been conned by Susie although it could be a dubious ploy to con Leah again – and they go for a lovely stroll along the beach.

They barley know each other but Stephen doesn’t hesitate to divulge his life story and how he “spent too long licking my wounds” after Susie did a number on him.

Somehow Stephen manages to bring it back around to Leah and Justin’s relationship and tells Leah to “fight” for Justin otherwise Susie will have won.

Now we’re back at the Morgan household – no sign of Budget McDreamy or Tori though – and Leah broaches the difficult subject with Justin.

“You’ve been in this position,” Leah says.

Very rarely do I identify with Justin, but I genuinely have no idea what Leah is insinuating because I don’t know anything that happened on the show before last year.

“You think I’m a junkie?” Justin asks.

Turns out Justin’s brother, Brody, was involved in some giant drug thing and Leah fears it runs in the family.

In a glorious fit of stubborn rage, Justin pours all his pill packets in the sink then tries to jam them down the drain with a rolling pin.

It’s an odd technique, but I assume by not removing the pills from the packet, he’s hoping to rescue some.

Justin unscrews the plumbing and it looks like he’s going to lick the drain juice which is a really low moment, even for Justin, but after staring into the drain, he refrains.

Then he outdoes himself and fires Ziggy because she “undermined” him by telling Leah about his outburst last week.

“I trusted you with my business and I can’t even trust you on day one,” Justin says.

“Because you like the gym so much I’m going to make it really easy for you to go anytime. You’re fired.”

So now basically everyone is unemployed, not that that’s an issue in Summer Bay.
