A celebrity chef has launched a range of kitchen items in Coles after huge success in the US – with a “unique” $20 item we’ll all want.
A range of cookwear from Australian chef Curtis Stone is launching in Coles after having monumental success on a shopping channel in the US.
The ‘‘Cook with Curtis’’ brand sells a variety of pots and pans with a non-stick coating as well as a selection of utensils and has gone “gangbusters” on the Home Shopping Network.
Now a 19-piece kitchen set is launching in Coles, with prices ranging from $10 up to $55.
Curtis, who is also a recipes ambassador for the supermarket giant, said he’s excited to bring his popular cookware to Australia after launching it in the US back in 2012.
“After a decade of perfecting my cookware, I’m so excited to be launching my brand new ‘Cook with Curtis’ range exclusively designed for Aussie home cooks,” the celebrity chef said.
“It’s the highest quality product at the most affordable price, so I really feel I’m helping all Australians to cook with me.
“My aim is simple – to make cooking at home just that little bit easier, more enjoyable and delicious,” Curtis added.
Jonathan Torr, Coles’ general manager non-food, said customers will be thrilled to get their hands on this quality range.
“Our customers will feel like they have something very special when they purchase this range,” Mr Torr said.
“It’s the type of quality you would expect to find in a premium department store, and it’s being made available to our customers at great prices.”
He went on to explain “Curtis and our team have left no stone unturned” in the development of the range – which includes a unique item shoppers will love, a lid rest.
The multi-use item retails for $20 and allows home cooks to avoid dripping mess from 2 lids at a time.
It can also double up as an iPad or tablet stand and to serve snacks from.
The cookwear is made of hard anodised forged aluminium with an “impressive weightiness” to them and a 5-layer non-stick coating that lets “food slide right off”.
