Jeep is celebrating its 80th anniversary with a trio of limited special editions on sale this month.
The 80th Anniversary Special Editions will be limited to 80 Cherokees and 160 each of the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler Unlimited.
The three feature Granite Crystal accents, badging and wheels and unique 80th Anniversary badging featuring the side profile of the original Willys Jeep.
Honouring the original Willys’ open-air driving, the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee models get a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, while the Wrangler scores Jeep’s Sky-One-Touch Power Top.
Inside sees further 80th Anniversary branding, plus black leather upholstery complemented by Light Tungsten accent stitching, Berber floor mats and Jeep’s 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen which greets customers with “Since 1941” each time they start the engine.
The Cherokee 80th Anniversary Special Edition is based on the Cherokee Limited and adds $1991 to the price, while the Grand Cherokee is based on a now-discontinued Limited variant.
The Wrangler gets the biggest price bump, asking for $5191 more than the Wrangler Overland.
