Roger Marti’s late goal has earned Levante a 2-2 draw at home with Valladolid in La Liga on Friday.
The game came alive in the second half when Dani Gomez put the home side ahead on 61 minutes after converting Jorge de Frutos’ cross.
The visitors mounted a strong comeback and Ruben Alcaraz levelled with a low shot from distance on 73 minutes.
Just four minutes later Valladolid had the lead when Oscar Plano’s shot was deflected past Aitor Fernandez by Ruben Duarte.
But Levante earned a deserved point eight minutes from time when Marti converted Nemanja Radoja’s assist.
“We generated the scoring chances to take the lead, and then let the three points slip away,” Valladolid midfielder Alcaraz said. “But I recognise the effort and attitude of the team.”
Valladolid climbed to 15th with the point while Levante are 10th.
