Commuters are being warned to expect delays after trains on the Armadale line were cancelled due to a technical issue which is expected to last for most of the day.
Transperth confirmed trains on the Armadale Line have been cancelled between Beckenham and Armadale due to a technical issue, which is also causing delays on the Thornlie Line.
Train replacement buses are running between Cannington and Armadale and trains will continue to run between Perth and Beckenham.
“Please allow extra travelling time and be aware that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services,” Transperth said in a statement.
“Alternatively there may be a timetabled service that will help you get where you are going.
“This disruption is expected to continue for the majority of the day.
“Check the list of alternative bus routes or use the JourneyPlanner to plan your journey.”
