A big belt of rain ripped south through WA earlier in early February. Much of it fell in the catchment of the 800km long Murchison River.
It rises in the Robinson Ranges, north of Meekatharra. It runs through the Kalbarri National Park and ends up in the river mouth in Kalbarri, where it pours into the Indian Ocean.
The silty water arrived in the town on Monday February 15… Choc milk meeting the azure of the ocean.
