Australian singer Sia Furler has come out with her own accusations against actor Shia LaBeouf , slamming him as a ‘pathological liar’ who ‘conned her into an adulterous relationship.

Furler, 44, included LaBeouf in her video for her 2015 song Elastic Heart, which also featured dancer Maddie Zielger.

Her comments follow news that British singer and LaBeouf’s ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs was suing the actor for abusing her during their relationship.

“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single,” Furler Tweeted.

“I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.

“Also I love you @FKAtwigs.

“This is very courageous and I’m very proud of you.”

Twigs, who was born Tahliah Barnett, is demanding a jury trial for the claims, which include sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress.

The lawsuit states Barnett was once woken up by LaBeouf standing over her, violently squeezing her arms against her will and choking her.

In another instance, LaBeouf allegedly threatened to crash the car he was driving while Barnett was inside, unless she professed her love for him.

In response, LaBeouf said had been “abusive to both himself and ‘everyone’ around him for years.”

“I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behaviour made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say,” he told The New York Times.

LaBeouf said he was working on his alcoholism in a 12-step program and was suffering from PTSD.

He said many of the claims against him were not true but he “owed the women the opportunity to air their statements publicly and accept accountability for those things I have done.”
