The world’s fastest man, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, sent social media into a storm with the announcement that he is now a father of three.
Not only was it the first time the world had heard that he’d welcomed twin boys with partner Kasi Bennett, but the unique names were also a treat for fans.
Having named their first daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt last year, the couple revealed their adorable new additions are fittingly called Thunder and Saint Leo Bolt.
While Thunder is self explanatory, the latter is a nod to the eight-time Olympic gold medallist’s full name — Usain St Leo Bolt.
Using US Father’s Day to make the announcement, Bolt shared the photo of his growing family after keeping the pregnancy a secret for the past nine months.
Bennett also posted a series of images alongside the caption “Happy Father’s Day to my forever love! @usainbolt,” the post read.
“You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones. We love you world without end!”
Bolt and Bennett have been together for around seven years, announcing their relationship in 2016 after keep it secret for two years.
The Tokyo Games, kicking off next month, will be the first Olympics since the Sydney Games in 2000 where Bolt will not feature, after his retirement in 2017.
He won gold medals in the 100m and 200m at three successive Games, Beijing in 2008, London in 2012 and Rio in 2016.
He still holds the world record for the 100m, a mark of 9.58 seconds he set in 2009.
